Winter EventsJanuary 17th, 2011
There will be a craft day in the Albany area (Loudonville) on Saturday, January 29th. Come make some stuff for game, eat food, and have fun. There will be sewing stations set up and maybe a monster project. Feel free to bring anything you're working on or need an extra pair of hands for.
The 2011 Kingdoms of Novitas February Feast will be held on Saturday, February 12th at Vanderkamp. There will be a single 5-hour game shift, to run from noon to 5 PM, followed by dinner, a fundraiser auction, a short State of the Game address, and partying. Preregister now – space is limited, first come first served.
Novitas will be hosting a fighter practice at SUNY Albany on Saturday, March 12, 2011.

Despite the cold and snow, we will persevere! The next event is this weekend, December 3-5, 2010. It’s the last event until the Feb Feast, so come get your LARP on. We hope to see you there!

Logistics will be in Confirmation Lodge this event (the small lodge closest to the entrance and across from the prop shed) – please do not go to Fellowship Hall, as another group has rented it.
Preproduction is open until midnight November 2nd. If you have production skills, please post your requests on the forum.

Summer Fighter PracticesJune 19th, 2010
There won't be another game until September, but that doesn't mean we're inactive. Please join us for fighter practices this summer!
Saturday, July 3rd, at AJ's family homestead (3508 State Route 104, Mexico, NY 13114)
Saturday, July 17th, at SUNY Oswego's Fallbrook facility
Saturday, August 7th, at Collins Park, Schenectady
Garb is optional, but you must bring your own weapons. One BBQ-style meal will be provided.
All attendees get 1XP for showing up. You can attend as many practices as you want. Full sign-in is optional – you can choose to come for free. However, it is only available for those in attendance at a given fighter practice.
Full sign-in at fighter practices means that if you attend and pay us $20, we record 3 XP and an IOU for an extra month's worth of production skills (with the exception of Lore). Players level and receive their consumables, item numbers, and/or coin in September. Please note that since you can't level until September, you can't use any skills that aren't currently on your character sheet over the downtime.

June Event and Summer Fighter PracticesMay 19th, 2010
The next Kingdoms of Novitas weekend event is June 4-6, 2010. We hope you'll join us! (If you have production skills, make sure to do pre-production!)
After that Novitas will be on a summer break while our event site becomes a summer camp. This year we're sponsoring boffer combat for the campers as part of a giveback to Vanderkamp (and a great way to start 'em young!), so we're giving double XP for cash donations ($10 = 2XP) at the June event. Over the break we'll be scheduling several fighter practices to keep our skills up and see our KON friends. Keep on eye on this space and the forums for updates as we schedule practices.
