How long have you been playing: Well I’ve been playing for almost ten years now. My ten year anniversary will be in April of 2020, and these have been ten awesome years playing. I had to take a break for a while due to life circumstances, but when I returned it was as if I never left. It is one of the reasons I love KON so much.
Describe your character: My character is Leon Wolfram (Von’Wolfe depending on who you ask); He is a veteran adventurer and seasoned druid who is getting old in age and his grayish-white hair shows it. Leon is kind, loving, and very forgiving, but he does not suffer fools or tolerate inhuman acts of cruelty. He has spent a lot of his later years protecting the balance of nature and teaching newer adventurers and young druids different skills, resources and opening their minds to see the bigger picture of life. Over all he is a moral compass that some people look to for guidance, probably why he has gained the title “Best Septon” in the Freelands even when he isn’t even a Septon to begin with.
What is your favorite in game moment?: Over ten years there have been a lot of fantastic moments that have happened to Leon, but one that really changed Leon to the core was the CassIdy Arc. CassIdy was a necromancer that worshiped Darkness and created flesh golems to terrorize the surrounding area. Eventually she came across Leon closest friend and leader: Fe the Butcher. Through temptation and twisted words she drew a wedge between the two of them. Leading Fe closer to his darker side which eventually led to Fe dying. But for CassIdy that wasn’t enough; to her it was Leon's fault that Fe died. So on one moon lit night, Cassidy attacked the town, sending flesh golem after flesh golem, trying to break down Leon's spirit. But, as she attacked the town she invited Leon to a secluded place to face her champion. He arrived there with a few friends and heard a song being sung, a song that Leon knew well. She had taken the body of his friend and remade Fe the Butcher into a flesh golem; which Leon had to face. After Fe and Leon had finished the last verse of the song, they charged into battle against each other. Leon had won, but at the price of killing someone he loved dearly. To this day he doesn’t forgive himself for not being able to pull Fe out of the darkness, but he promised to never let it happen again to someone he loved.
What is your Favorite Monster? Why?: I have to say my favorite monster right now has to be Buzzers. They are super cute and kind and really ditzy. They are always leading themselves into trouble, but at same time if they are spooked or threatened, their little stinger can kill you. (Trust me, I know. (-_-) )
Why do you love Kingdoms of Novitas?: Like I said earlier I was gone for about two and a half years due to life and college and all that fun stuff, but when I returned even with many, new faces it was like I never left. It was like I was coming home to family and I can’t imagine not having this Larp family in my life. Some of my closest friends I've met here and wouldn’t trade any of the experiences I’ve had here for anything else. To me Kingdoms of Novitas is my home away from home.
Who is your favorite PC?: This is a tough one, with so many interesting and different characters it is hard to pick one. If I have to pick one right now I would have to say Catori right now is one of my favorites. She a female archer, she is kind of heartless when it comes to battle, but when you get to know her she is really sweet and funny. The way she acts in certain situations is very true to her Dellin ways, and the talks we have had in character are always learning opportunities for each of us. She is definitely a force to be reckoned with and if you piss her off, you'll likely find an arrow in your chest.
What did you think your character concept was? What is it now?: When Leon first walked into Pinedale he had just lost his wife and son. He was filled with hatred and malice towards monsters and evil characters. He would charge head first into battle and wished for death, yet he kept being saved. To me Leon was meant to test the waters as my first character and I didn’t plan on playing him for so long.
So now almost ten years later, he spends his time teaching the younger generation and still kicking bad guys in the butts. He became more than I ever thought he would be.
How many PC’s have you had? What happened to them?: Leon is the only character I’ve ever had and he is still kicking. But I’ve been looking to bring a different character who is very different from Leon. I don’t know only time will tell. ^_^

How long have you been playing?: My first game was in August 2018!
Describe your character: Opal (Blackthunder, as of August 2019) is a quirky Terran who has broken her chains and is starting to forge her own path on the surface. She quickly made friends with other misfits around town, got herself married to a high class lady, and started building a cave to call home. Needless to say she’s living her best life while trying to survive all of the craziness that seems to happen in Maplewood. As of recently, her past has been called into question and has become a complicated conversation of political interest regarding slavery in Terra and Gersh.
What was your favorite in game moment?: One of my first games I was NPCing with Mary Weeg and we went out as gamblers: Laverne and Shirley. We spent some time at the Slap and Tickle playing games and making conversations when some Dellins came pounding at the door trying to sell items and making a scene. We tried our best to stay in character but found ourselves laughing pretty hard. A short time later the Slap and Tickle was invaded by the Dellins and a group of Fiends. All hell broke loose and before I could even say “oh shi-” Mary looked me in the eyes and disappeared under the table. I pretty much assumed I was going to get murdered and I just folded my arms and put my head down embracing the inevitability of my doom. To my amazement no one touched me and the room was soon silent, everyone dead on the floor. I looked under the table and Mary was still alive and we both looked around in shock that we’d both survived. I said “let’s get the HELL out of here” and we scooped up our earnings, leaving the rest on the table and we made a run for it. We got down the road a short way and were talking about what just happened when someone snuck up behind me and stabbed me in the back before killing Mary as well. It was Aiden who thought that we had stolen from him during the chaos and took off with hundreds of coin. It turns out Abel had tricked him and he ran after us after we’d left. In the end, we survived the chaos of an all out brawl in the Slap and Tickle only to be murdered by our new friend for something we didn’t do.
What is your favorite monster? Why?: I tend to avoid combat so I haven’t experienced many monsters, but I know that wraiths keep beating the crap out of even the strongest of PCs.
Why do you love Kingdoms of Novitas?: A nice weekend of escapism from the stress of normal life is quite a relief. I love getting to come out to the middle of the woods and act like a huge nerd with a bunch of other huge nerds. At first I was really afraid that I wouldn’t fit in but I was quickly proved wrong by the amazing people here. I really feel like Novitas has helped me break out of my shell and allowed me a positive way to cope with my anxiety. Nothing says relaxation like a weekend of running around the woods and hitting your friends with swords while pretending to be someone else.
Who is your favorite PC?: This is a really hard question, I love all the PCs I’ve come to know. I love all my Earthkin friends for all of the nonsense we get into together. Sable Company always makes me laugh super hard. I love Jesse Luna’s PC, Don Cervantes, for begrudgingly putting up with us calling him “Donny” and “our human pet”.
What did you think your character concept was? What is it now?: I had no idea where I was going to go with this character and I’m playing it game by game and just going with the flow. It’s been really fun to just develop her on a game-to-game basis.
How many PCs have you had? What happened to them?: Opal is my first and only and I’m really hoping I won’t have to make a new PC for a long time. I’m usually pretty good about keeping her out of danger but part of me is still dying to get in on some of the fighting action.

How long have you been playing?: My first game was August 2016, so a little over 3 years now.
Describe your character: Arcturus Valteri is a Vleanoan deserter turned Septon. After watching his family die and his military career turn to ruin, he fled the country for a new start in the Freelands. He is a devout follower of the Seven but has his own unique “interpretations” of many of their tenants, mainly involving the tolerance of Draconus, purging heretics and partying. Arcturus will just as soon share a drink and a song with his companions as he would hunt down and destroy a dark cult. He has a fierce distaste for undead and dark cultists, and will go to the ends of Novitas to protect his friends and allies. He currently leads the Lightsworn Order and runs the local Sept temple.
What was your favorite in game moment?: This is a tough one, there have been so many amazing moments. My favorite recent moment would have to be my battle with Lord Mortem, a dangerous wraith lord. I watched him become a wraith after cultists desecrated my temple, and myself and a few companions fought hard to take them down. The wraith lord escaped, and a month later I tracked him down and dueled him to the death at night in a clearing. As we landed blow after blow against each other I never felt more like a real hero fighting against dark forces. As Lord Mortem fell, I dispelled his remains and reaped his spirit, yelling the incants as loud as I could. A very close second would be the assault on Cairnhold during my second event ever. It felt like I was at Helm’s Deep!
What is your favorite monster? Why?: Surprisingly, it would be the wraith. I think they’re one of the few monsters that can really make some our best fighters wet themselves! They are some of the most sinister and dangerous creatures in Novitas, able to pass through walls, bypass armor and steal your very spark. Plus they’re all black and nearly impossible to see until they’ve stabbed you half a dozen times!
Why do you love Kingdoms of Novitas?: Two reasons stand out among many: the players and the stories. I’ve never seen a community as open and welcoming as the Novitas crew. When I first started, I was afraid I wouldn’t fit in, but three years later I’ve met some of my closest friends here. It really feels like one big nerdy family. The stories we can tell here are beyond anything I ever expected. The whole staff, the plot, props and GM team especially, are absolute masters at bringing the fantastical world of Novitas to life. From heroic moments to heartfelt RP, the world really lives and breathes on an incredible level.
Who is your favorite PC?: This might be the hardest question! I think it would have to be Alareon the Firekeeper. Stefan does such an incredible job bringing his character to life. Between how deep his RP can be and the fact that he’s a great fighter on top of it, he really has both my own and my PC’s respect. A very close second would be Septon Marcus Maximus played by Steve Arnold!
What did you think your character concept was? What is it now?: Frankly, I’m surprised my character has lived this long! Arcturus conceptually began as a “mercenary turned holy man”. Originally I hoped to have him become a paladin and fight against the inquisition of Vlean. I wanted him to be a more serious no-nonsense character, always on duty. That didn’t quite pan out as I thought, and he’s much better for it! He became Maplewood’s resident temple cleric after apprenticing as a neophyte Septon under Marcus Maximus and the Templar Legion. Now he leads a misfit group of do-gooders called the Lightsworn Legion, purging evil and drinking heavily wherever they go!
How many PCs have you had? What happened to them?: So far it has just been Arcturus for the last three years, still alive and kicking evil butt. I’ve sure had my fair share of close calls where I thought it would be lights out, but he’s not done yet! I do plan on bringing an alt in in the near future, but who knows?

Player Profile: Anton Krasnitskiy, Justin Fermaint, Anthony PanarelloJuly 31st, 2019
How long have you been playing?:
–Anton: I started in November so about 9 months now.
-Justin: I dragged my friends to Novitas for the first time in November 2018.
-Pano: It will be 10 months in August, I started in November 2018 with Anton and Justin.
Describe your character:
-Anton: An amoral and vicious Dellin mercenary with the nickname of “Tiny" who lost his “family” in less than a day in a huge battle, and came to town to build it back up. He is willing to do anything it takes to bring his family and company back to its former might, and to absolutely dismantle and destroy the enemy company that brought his family down. Known to be loud and obnoxious. Doesn’t really trust anyone but his brothers much.
-Justin: A doctor from Civen turned mercenary named "Tickler" who is one of the last remaining members of an ancient mercenary band. His main concern/responsibility is upkeep and safeguarding of the company "Annals" which is an ancient series of books that describes the entirety of the company's history. It's his job to not only keep his brothers alive, but to document every step they take along their journey.
-Pano: Coinpurse is an exiled Vleanoan noble that is trained in fencing, art and stewardship. He is young, inexperienced and a coward when it comes to certain situations, but most of all, he's a goofball. He's always looking to poke fun at someone or be made fun of for thrill of it. He may push the envelope a bit far sometimes, but is a quick learner and profits from his many mistakes. He has truly grown from the meek and fearful self he once was and is now a force to be reckoned with. He also maintains his position as the quatermaster of Sable Company and a scout when out on company excursions.
What was your favorite in game moment?:
-Anton: In my first event we were playing as wandering Dellin fur sellers. We were annoying the hell out of everyone and anyone, and when we finally got to the Slap and Tickle, they magic locked the door on us. So we did the only thing left in our arsenal and started banging on the door and being as loud as possible. Finally we decided that we were gonna wait until someone opened the door to try and barge in. Happened to be our luck that an adventurer was trying to get into the Slap and Tickle. As they let him in we grabbed the door and tried to force our way in. They dropped us right quick. That’s when the fiends came from behind us and attacked the inn that we helped force open. A couple of other gambling npc’s inside the inn pretended to die and then bolted. The interactions of all of our groups that just happened to be there, I thought that was hilarious and beautiful.
-Justin: The first time our group encountered our mortal enemies: Onyx Company. The players who were NPCing them played them perfectly and set up an amazing encounter. It left a lasting impact on me for the future and, if I'm being honest, kinda scared me at the same time. I'm really excited to see what happens next.
-Pano: It's hard to pick a favorite as each event harbors at least 3-4 incredible moments that I would call my favorite, but I'll give the most recent occurrence that really left me feeling like one with Coinpurse. In June, Coinpurse was finally recognized as a merchant and was able to solicit Sable Company services to the public. Their first patrons were Aiden and Abel from the Slap and Tickle, and the contract was set for 10 coin a head for a shift. Coinpurse was unsure of proper contract procedures and he mucked it up real good when it came to looting some Yebbs that the group slain and he argued with Aiden over the loot split. Coinpurse did not fully discuss the terms prior and because of this the dispute between Aiden and Coinpurse became hostile and he attempted to stab Coinpurse to death until coinpurse dissipated away before he was killed. After that Aiden had took his coin purse and emptied it all over the floor where coinpurse disappeared and then left. Coinpurse came back after Aiden was out of sight and reveled in his terrible mistake. He then meticulously picked up every coin and gem off the floor and later went back to Aiden to apologize and give Aiden his valuables back. What then followed was an amazing heart to heart with Aiden about Coinpurse's hardships with actual tears on my part. This moment was so cinematic and remarkable that it has permanently influenced Coinpurse's character going forward.
What is your favorite monster? Why?
-Anton: Kazvaks, they are a simple enemy which strike fear into every PC’s heart the moment you hear “Destroying Spark”.
-Justin: Wraiths. They're just so damn scary to fight since they chop right through armor. Be afraid to walk around town in the dark. Very, very afraid.
-Pano: Bagmen. They are always out terrifying people and making tough guys turn and run like little sissies. They are also always involved in horror plots and which are interesting and fun to be a part of.
Why do you love Kingdoms of Novitas?:
-Anton: Diving into my character completely and really feeling and acting and even believing I’m Tiny is an indescribable experience. The interactions between characters in game and the stories that occur in game always stick with me. And the people are all right too I guess <3 .
-Justin: It's an escape from the world for me. I get to be someone else entirely for a whole weekend. The stresses of life just sorta melt away and it's really become an important part of my life.
-Pano: The community. It is the most warm and welcoming group of people you'll ever meet. Everyone is so supportive and involved that it's contagious. From day one they take care of newbies and really put effort in to showing them a good time. After graduating from being a newbie, it is only natural to return the same favor to the newbies after you. One thing is for sure in Kingdoms of Novitas, is that new friends are everywhere you look.
Who is your favorite PC?:
-Anton: Abel, Aiden and Micah, for being the most interesting people involved in a love triangle.
-Justin: It's really hard to pick just one, so I'm going to say just about all the Earthkin. All of them are super chill and friendly, and I've yet to meet one I haven't liked immediately.
-Pano: Aiden and Abel, cutest couple in Novitas <3
What did you think your character concept was? What is it now?:
-Anton: When I first made my character, I attempted to emulate my own knowledge of Viking practices, attitude and mannerisms, tempered with lore from the world itself. I also made him intensely loyal to the company, so as to lower intergroup problems and as a way for the world to interact with the company as him as medium. I made Tiny loud and obnoxious as a way to distract people away from the activities of my peers, and to mask his own inquisitive nature, and also to be the biggest target on the battlefield, so they would focus on him and avoid anyone who could be hiding or flanking. I was also extremely interested in making my character religious, but atypically in his manner of worship to have that interaction between the world and his own tribal ways. My concept hasn’t changed much over these last few months, just some tweaks here and there that evolved naturally through character interactions and plot. I initially wanted him to treat his savagery and fighting in an almost religious manner, but it turns out Tiny is only brutal or savage when its demanded of him and doesn’t particularly enjoy it one way or another (unless you’re from Onyx Company). I also initially had the obnoxiousness be a façade for his more side, but realized that Tiny isn’t particularly intelligent as more “wise”, so while it is still a façade the things I’m covering with it has changed.
-Justin: Our group sat down and planned out what each of us would do. One leader, one healer, one scout, etc. It was decided that I'd be our healer as well as our Annalist, and I decided on my own to specialize in sword and shield. Tickler is more of a strategist, thinking long-term effects on him and his friends, as well as being more of a overly-cautious version of myself. I also liked the idea of being a bit mysterious, not telling anyone (even my friends) about Tickler's backstory. Nowadays Tickler has to start stepping up into a leader role, and making hard decisions on the fly. I'm really excited to see where the game takes Tickler from here.
-Pano: Coinpurse at first was a naive, childish, and cowardly spoiled rich kid with no idea how the world really works. He was prone to running from fights and problems rather than dealing with them head on. He was constantly making foolish mistakes. He was also very awkward and odd as he had never interacted with anyone else except his family and servants, (yes he was home-schooled).
How many PCs have you had? What happened to them?:
-Anton: I’ve had exactly one and he will live forever and totally never die.
-Justin: I've only had Tickler so far. But if something unfortunate were to happen I have some ideas for an interesting backup. Let's just call him a hunter of beasts for now.
-Pano: Coinpurse is my one and only right now and will be for quite a while. I do plan on playing an alternative character, but I will probably wait until I retire Coinpurse.

How long have you been playing?: 5 years this September!
Describe your character: Drea is… a complicated person with the best intentions. She overcame a lot of obstacles in life, (ie.: watching her 3-year-old son and her husband being murdered by Nox worshipers, joining a group of mercenaries only to have them all die around her and fleeing before it was her turn, having Pinedale turn into a second home only to have it destroyed, and giving up basically all of her freedom for the sake of love and marriage to a Civen Consul) and still smiles when asked about her life and her past. She’s avidly trying to figure out what her part in this world is, and why she keeps encountering Nox worshipers who want her dead and who still have her family heirloom for whatever reason. She might not do things the most rational way, but she always means well and has a huge heart.
What was your favorite in game moment?: Ah… How to keep this short? My all-time favorite moment that has to do with my PC has to be when the ghost of the cultist who murdered her immediate family dragged Drea’s twin brother out to Maplewood and requested she come meet him alone. It was a terrifying thought, yet I did it, and I’m glad I did. It was the most intense, in-depth, and emotional roleplaying moment I have ever experienced in-game. Internal conflict plus her brother’s life on the line definitely made it a hell of an experience I will surely never forget. Props to the person who came up with that plot. Another favorite moment in-game was when I was GMing a few years ago and gathered two ghosts to play a “haunted house” scenario in which the male would kill the female in a horrible fashion repeatedly until the adventurers figured out the reason behind it all and solved the problem. It was priceless hearing of the horrified and impressed reactions of those who participated.
What is your favorite monster? Why?: I love Boggarts. Having encountered one for the very first time recently and interacting with it for quite a while, I really admire the fact they can’t lie and see all the loopholes in agreements. They’re very creepy if played correctly, and the one I interacted with gave me the freaking chills.
Why do you love Kingdoms of Novitas?: What’s not to love? I get to escape being a full-time working mother of twin toddlers, escape my never-ending and repetitive daily routine, and I get to play out stories that would’ve been otherwise written and told. And what’s the fun in that? Beating up your nerd family once a month is a gift from the Gods, old and new. And the bonds that come out of KoN are amazing. Even after taking my 18 month hiatus, it felt like I never left. That’s the power of nerdy and true friendship.
Who is your favorite PC?: My all-time favorite PC has to be Daitoro. I simply adore that… man? He’s so mysterious and secretive, yet he’s been opening up to Drea more and more and she’s seen a few different sides of him she’s never seen before, and they’ve been in the same group together for going on 5 years. My other favorite PC is Dren Ollevres, of course – my husband’s PC. Not biased at all. He’s very charming and a hell of an amazing fighter. Very thankful he’s taught Drea all she knows about fighting.
What did you think your character concept was? What is it now?: When my now-husband-then-boyfriend told me about KoN and how it worked, I had already had the character of Drea written from a story I wrote when I was 14. I kept the same concept – she’s out for revenge and she wants her stolen item back – but I did change a few minor things about her for her to make sense in this world. Now, she’s still all about revenge–even more–but now she’s got two beautiful children, a loving and understanding husband (he’s a saint for putting up with her), and more resolve to her own story. It’s all coming full-circle.
How many PCs have you had? What happened to them?: Drea is my one and only, and she lives and breathes. I pity those who cross her path with ill intent.

How long have you been playing?: Since August 2015 or 2014 (don’t remember exactly when).
Describe your character: My current character (not giving out his name) is a young elf that got bored of being in the Forest and decided to travel. While traveling, he was captured and tortured by slavers to the point that he has little to no sanity. After escaping and arriving in Maplewood, he has become afraid of most living creatures and finds more comfort among the dead.
What was your favorite in game moment?: Well, back when I was still playing my first PC, before I made a party, there was a moment that there where I think seven living people and two dead were being forced to hide in a lean-to. There were of a group of vampires, and I was the only one that had weapons that could deal with them. So, I looked to Lucius and handed him one of my weapons and we went to fight them together. This only ended up with me getting dragged off by the vampires, unconscious.
What is your favorite monster? Why?: Hmm… As of now I would say bagmen mostly because they are fae, but also because of how easily they can mess up a party if they are not prepared for them.
Why do you love Kingdoms of Novitas?: What isn’t already to love about being in the woods? With the addition of everything that happens in game just makes it all so much better.
Who is your favorite PC?: I don’t have a favorite right now
What did you think your character concept was? What is it now?: Well, it started out with being afraid of everything, but willing to engage anything in order to get food which was considered anything that moved.
Not much has changed due to my PC still being newish, but I am willing to talk to people now even if I am not happy about it.
How many PCs have you had? What happened to them?: I have had two. My first one, Paran, I retired after a series of events that led to me not being able to play him how I thought I should after everything that happened.
My second one and current one is alive, but lives in a building that only allows the dead to enter to avoid interacting with people. Still very much believes that fruit should be free and refuses to pay for it.

How long have you been playing?: Since February 2017, so just over 2 years.
Describe your character: Winora Rosebloom, a smol squishy wood elf. Sassy but curious, with a big heart. Come see me in the warmer months at the Bizarre Bazaar playing music or commenting on current events!
What was your favorite in game moment?: I have a lot of fun stories about the antics we get up to, but my favorite moments are often more mundane. I love the crackling fire with everyone sitting around, chatter filling the Inn, sunsets with the forest sounds around it. Just existing in the world of Novitas, cheesy stuff like that.
What is your favorite monster? Why? Not really a monster, but I find the fae in general very interesting. They’re all so different from each other, and mysterious to me!
Why do you love Kingdoms of Novitas? The stories really come alive when you’re out in the woods, away from regular life. You can really get lost in the world and adventure of it all.
Who is your favorite PC? As my PC it’s probably Eleanor (Hannah V), Oma (Amy B), or anyone who gives me food really.
As myself I love Joy (Katlyn H)!
What did you think your character concept was? What is it now?: I started as basically myself in funny clothes. I’m a fairly genuine person so I knew I’d have a tough time playing a fake me for an extended amount of time, and took that personality into my character creation.
It hasn’t changed a whole lot, I’ve just found a place to belong!
How many PCs have you had? What happened to them?: Just the one, since October 2017. It’s been quite the year and a half!

How long have you been playing?: My first game was June 2008, and I didn’t bring in my PC until October that year.
Describe your character: Where do I begin? My first PC was Baldisere Ferrazzano. I came in with the concept of being loyal to Vlean which was definitely unusual at the time. So, I made a Vleanoan Inquisitor, who were basically the bad guys in game. They would only really get sent in to stir up problems. I wanted to make them more human and sympathetic. It went off without a hitch and I have never looked back.
Now I am one of the highest Septons in game and I just try and do good.
What was your favorite in game moment?: This one is easy. My Chosen five arc was by far the best. It was a year long plot where I was set to destroy a very powerful lich and his phylactery. The culmination of the plot was a dungeon crawl and we killed the lich. I ended up fighting him by myself and became triumphant. It was so good because you could tell all the hard work that staff and players dedicated to the game.
What is your favorite monster? Why?: This is a hard one. Being on rules staff I get to know all the monsters in game and see what they bring to it. If I have to choose, I would say Archons. They always lead to interesting encounters.
Why do you love Kingdoms of Novitas?: I’ve always loved fantasy games. This game has met every expectation I have had for a LARP and gone beyond it. I know it sounds like a cop out, but honestly it has always had such a great community that it’s hard to not bring it up.
Who is your favorite PC?: I can’t really answer that. All the players have had so many ups and downs throughout their time at game. I can’t pick one person.
What did you think your character concept was? What is it now?: It was meant to be a Vleanoan Inquisitor who was loyal to Vlean. It led to me having to choose to stay loyal to my country, or stay true to my morals as a Septon.
Now, I am a citizen of Maplewood who is high chosen of the Gods trying to make good in the world for my in-game kids.
How many PCs have you had? What happened to them?: I am still playing Baldisere Ferrazzano. His ten year anniversary is coming up this October.
He is still alive in Maplewood. Trying to be a good widowed father and proudly wearing blue and yellow.

How long have you been playing?: I have been coming to KoN since October 2017.
Describe your character: Eleanor (human)
Mouthy, ex-slave apprentice to Ivan Freelander. She is a member of the Bless the Mask Players & is very loyal to the people she likes/trusts. Life motto: "I'm here for a good time, not for a long one."
Lilith (earthkin)
New to the surface & a little awkward around strangers/non- earthkin, she believes that the best way to get to know someone is over a good drink. She is looking forward to learning more about the world and growing her combat skills.
What was your favorite in game moment?: My very first event I went out as a generic townsperson NPC and got hired by a PC, Ellenor Vold, to spy on another PC, Rykir. However, after about 30 minutes of the most questionable espionage work I have ever done, I was found out by Rykir and tried to play off having amnesia. It worked! He never suspected I was spying on him and even spent a good amount of time (and magic) to help my NPC "regain her memories".
It was the first time I felt like I could do this whole "LARP" thing, which makes it one of my favorites.
What is your favorite monster? Why?: Loot Goblin. You hit it and it throws a bunch of loot. What's there not to like?
Why do you love Kingdoms of Novitas?: The best part about KoN is the people. Being a part of this amazing group of people has given me a chance to be myself outside the stress of my day to day life, and has encouraged me to work hard at things I care about. I love the friends I have made through this game.
Who is your favorite PC?: Oma Blake. She is everyone's favorite grandma that could probably still kick your ass. Easy to talk to and always looking out for others. No matter what character I play, I always want to be in her good graces. Can you believe that she is almost 90?!?
What did you think your character concept was? What is it now?: I'm not sure if this counts as a "concept" but I originally planned to only have one Terran PC (Lilith). PCs aren't always planned, and I went out on an NPC slave plot and came back with PC number two (Eleanor)! It was a little odd bringing in my second, unplanned PC before the one I had already started planning but everything has turned out fine due in no small part to the help I have received from friends in and out of game.
How many PCs have you had? What happened to them?: Eleanor & Lilith are my first PCs. They're both still alive and well. Although in the future I'd love to play a Dellin!
